10 days Northern Parks High Lights Safari Comfort

This is the ultimate safari experience. You will get to see the most important high lights: Arusha park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Overnight in the bush in (tented) lodges with great atmosphere. You will have a chance to see all kinds of animals such as giraffes, zebras, elephants, leopards and lions. And if you are lucky even a rhino! Our guides will take you off the beaten track and give you the best possible safari experience

Day 1 Arusha National Park

Are you ready to hit the road and to start your safari adventure? In the morning our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you to Arusha National Park. Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife. Despite the smaller size of the park you can find animals like the giraffe, cape buffalo, zebra, the black-and-white colobus monkey, flamingo, elephant and many other animals. Arusha National Park offers some of the most breath taking scenery in Northern Tanzania. After lunch a ranger will accompany you
on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. At the end of the day your guide will bring you back to Arusha where you overnight at Green Mountain Hotel.

Day 2-3 Tarangire National Park

Our guide will take you to Tarangire National park today. The drive to Tarangire National Park will take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local
villages and Masaai herds on the way. Once we arrive at the park we will start the game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population. You can also find many zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and even lions and cheetahs. We will have lunch at the picnic site in the park and in the afternoon we continue our game drive. At the end of the day we slowly drive out of the park and head to Osupuko Lodge Tarangire. The location is so close to the park you might spot some zebras when you wake up in the morning!

On day 3 we drive back into Tarangire to continue exploring this beautiful park. In the evening we overnight at Marera Valley Lodge. Marera Valley Lodge, located on the outskirts of Karatu town about midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. It has a beautiful view over the valley to the hills beyond.

Day 4 Lake Manyara

After a good night sleep it’s time to go to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos. Between the game drives we will find a nice picnic site to enjoy our lunch. In addition you can book a walking safari and enjoy the park by foot with a park ranger. An amazing experience to see the animals up close! After our afternoon game drive it’s time to head Eileens Trees. Take a dive in the pool and relax!

Day 5 Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga Tribe

It’s going to be a special day because today we meet the bush men! We will visit the Hadzabe & Datoga tribe who live near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe is a tribe of nomadic hunters. They live purely off the land and depend solely on the bush. The Datoga tribe are pastoralists who are skilled silversmith’s who live near the Hadzabe and supply them with iron tips, knives and spears in exchange for honey and fruits. After this surreal experience we take you to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge. Enjoy the amazing view!

Day 6 Relaxing Day

Today we drive back to Eileens and it’s time to relax after your first exciting safari days. You can relax at the pool, have a glass of wine in the garden of Eileens Trees Lodge or take a walk in the village Karatu. You can recharge yourself and get ready for the rest of your safari adventure. You overnight at Eileens Trees Lodge

Day 7-9 Serengeti National Park

Today we’re heading to the famous Serengeti. We will arrive at the gate around lunch time. The rest of the day we will be doing a game drive on the endless plains of this amazing park. The Serengeti is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile and honey badger. Our guides love to take you off the beaten track and find the best places to spot the animals. In the evening you overnight at Osupuko. This comfortable tented lodge is scenically located on the slopes of Rongai Hills where sun-rise is your daily wake-up call and beautiful sun-set will always alert you to go to the camp fire or a sundowner.

The next day you can enjoy a full day of game drive in the Serengeti. In the evening we go back to Osupuko tented lodge.

On day 9 we will do another game drive in the morning and in the afternoon we’ll be heading to Ngorongoro conservation area where we overnight at,Ngorongoro Wild Camp which is beautifully located in the nature of the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Day 10 Ngorongoro Crater

Today we drive early into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater. We will find many zebras, wildebeest, elephants and if we’re lucky even rhinos! In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where your safari adventure will come to an end.
