Safari Tanzania: dare to go off the beaten track

Going on safari in Tanzania sounds quite exciting. Traveling from park to park, having a picnic in the middle of the park and sleeping in the bush at night. It's quite an adventure. Yet we challenge you to go one step further. Off the beaten track, in search of the real Africa.

Off the beaten track

Going on safari in Tanzania sounds quite exciting. Traveling from park to park, having a picnic in the middle of the park and sleeping in the bush at night. It's quite an adventure. Yet we challenge you to go one step further. Off the beaten track, in search of the real Africa.

Tanzania is no longer as pristine as it was 25 years ago. Many tourists have now found their way to the beautiful Serengeti and other parks. Especially in the months of July and August it is very busy. Although the parks and lodges are just as beautiful, we prefer to find the quiet places. Those special places where you somewhat have the feeling that you have nature to yourself.

Looking for wildlife

How do we do that? We have trained our guides to go off the beaten track. Many guides choose to go the easy way using the radio. It's a certainty you find the animals, but in the meantime you are admiring the wildlife with a crowd of cars. How much better is it when you go in search of the animals together with the guide? When you are the very first to find a leopard in the tree with its prey. Or the first to find a lioness with her cubs. This makes the game drive a lot more adventurous!

Away from mass tourism

How about the lodges? From the many lodges in Tanzania, we have made a selection of lodges that are smaller or have a special location. In high season it can also be busy here, but because there are a small number of rooms, you never feel that you are in the middle of mass tourism. On the contrary, we prefer to stay as far away as possible from that.

Is this what you are looking for? Then we challenge you to contact us and look together for your ideal safari program.
